X-Ray, MRI, CT, & Diagnostic Procedures

We work with an excellent network of radiology facilities, Including Invision, Stand Up MRI of America, Denver Imaging and others.

Diagnostic imaging includes exams that allow a radiologist to quickly and accurately identify a condition and/or its stage of progression. WE typically order these exams to investigate a problem or follow-up on a treatment procedure youve undergone.

These exams use x-rays, radio waves, or sound waves to non-invasively create images of the inside of the body. Many of them also use a contrast agent that makes certain tissue more visible in the images. A radiologist then examines these images for abnormalities, or a lack of them. Common medical imaging exams include CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and x-rays.

Diagnostic imaging also includes nuclear medicine and pain management. Nuclear medicine may diagnose illness by studying the function of the body rather than structure. It can also be used to treat various conditions. Pain management is used to identify or confirm a source of pain, as well as to treat it. With pain management, the radiologist will use x-rays, CT or ultrasound to help deliver steroids or other pain medication safely and precisely to the location ordered by your primary physician.
